Đầu tiên, cho 150gr bột mì, sữa tươi không đường, 1 muỗng canh cà phê đen, 1 muỗng canh bột bắp, 100ml nước ấm vào tô, trộn đều, nhào bột thành một hỗn hợp mềm, mịn.
Rải một lớp bột mì còn lại bên dưới thau, cho viên bột bánh mì lên và cho thêm bột áo lên trên. Cho bột vào chỗ ấm ủ khoảng 40 phút (trùm nilong hay khăn lên).
Vo bột thành từng viên tròn, nhỏ, cán dẹp. Rắc đều muối, xạ hương và dầu ôliu lên trên. Xe bột theo ý thích. Cho bột nghỉ khoảng 15 phút.
Xếp bánh lên khay nướng. Cho vào lò nướng nhiệt độ 160 độ C khoảng 10-15 phút. Ăn ngay hay để nguội vẫn giòn.
